Here come the girls: Leading the stars were Chanel muses Cara Delevingne and Kristen Stewart alongside pop star Katy Perry, with all the ladies rocking matching buzzcuts, as they made a stunning display with Cara, 24, going braless, Kristen, 27, opting for a dazzling sequinned unitard while the Katy, 32, sported a chic patterned two-piece comprising of a soft jacket
Cara, who has starred in a number of Chanel campaigns, looked sensational in an intricately designed white vest top tucked into stunning metallic trousers while sporting boots in the searing heat.
Ever a stickler for brand loyalty, she sported a thick leather choker complete with a large CC adornment while keeping her make-up neutral - with just her trademark thick brow boasting dark hues.
Kristen was undoubtedly determined to make a showstopping entrance as she slipped into the eye-wateringly tight unitard which clung to every inch of her slender frame.
The strapless number made the most of her lithe limbs while the stretchy, sequin adorned material meant she had no room for movement in the skin-tight garment. Allowing her body to do the talking, she boosted her height in a pair of simple black stilettos while peeling on a pair of rounded sunglasses.

Game faces on: As models for the brand, the women had a responsibility to look sensational
Katy meanwhile appeared to be rocking a look from last season, as she sported a suit adorned with spaceman imagery from the Fall 2017 Chanel collection, which debuted at the Grand Palais with a Space-themed show in March - complete with a rocket in place of the Eiffel Tower at the Grand Palais.
She was joined in the entry hall by her glamorous mum Mary Hudson, née Mary Perry, 69, who looked nothing short of sensational in an elegant tweed jacket paired with black trousers. She wore her brunette tresses in a super volumunious blowdry as she posed alongside her daughter.
All three of the glam ladies wore their matching locks in a spiky style with the bleached colouring providing an even edgier touch to their already incredible cool Chanel FROW ensembles.
Cool kid: Kirsten wowed in her jumpsuit as she headed into the bash - in arguably one of the scantiest looks of the day

Katy also posed with fellow music superstar Pharrell Williams, who was joined by his wife Helen Lasichanh, as he shunned the sleek Chanel style in favour of a super kooky tie-dye shirt and Seventies-inspired glasses.
Other stars to grace the show included fashion royalty Claudia Schiffer, 46, who was showing off her age-defying style and good looks in a stunning denim one-piece which she paired with flats.
Her long blonde locks were worn in cascading curls over her shoulders while she peeled a pair of over-sized, Sixities-inspired white sunglasses over her ageless complexion.

Yet more Hollywood fabulous came in the form of Tilda Swinton, who shunned her typical androgynous look in favour of a soft and stylish cream tweed jacket with a pair of billowing Palazzo pants with a flesh-flashing chiffon material and delicately pleated style.
Fashion week stalwart Julianne Moore looked far younger than her 56 years as she dazzled in a chic mini dress which made the most of her taut and toned legs. She wore her trademark flame red locks in loose waves while keeping her make-up light and dewy to best show off her complexion.
Joining festivities was Lily Collins who went super low-key in a pair of jeans while she paired the look with a stunning embellished top with frayed tweed sitting on the arms - in a nod to some of Chanel's hallmarks.

She was undoubtedly a shock addition to the arrivals due to her super low-key ensemble - with denim undoubtedly a cardinal FROW sin - particularly during Haute Couture week.
Thankfully adding a touch of glamour to the look was her staggering black strappy heels while the sparkling top and fringed sleeves was another sparkling touch to the look.
She wore a smudged smokey eye while allowing her brunette locks to fall in loose waves falling over her shoulders in a chest-tickling length - perfect for her tried-and-tested effortless look.

Flying the flag for the UK was Kaya Scodelario who was oozing understated elegance, as she showed off a glimpse of her tanned and toned pins in a striped metallic skirt. The two-piece featured a pretty terracotta tone, entwined with gold stripes which was reflected in her owl-embellished Chanel handbag.
In his trademark monochrome getup, Karl proudly displayed his Grand Vermeil medal, Paris' highest distinction, which he had been given by the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, with whom he posed on arrival.
Other stars joining the early arrivals included frequent Chanel model Caroline de Maigret, who was also opting for a more casual look than many in white pallazo pants with a fitted navy top.

Alongside Caroline was Israeli model Shlomit Malka who opted for a fitted skirt and sleeveless shirt with a Chanel belt cinching in her waist while Liu Wen was in jeans and a T-shirt - hinting at a casual air to the runway show.
Guardians And Of The Galaxy beauty Pom Klementieff was looking sleek in a tweed jacket with cropped black jeans - once again a nod to the denim looks - complete with slashed bottoms while 17-year-old My Golden Days actress Lily Taieb showed off a more mature style in brown velvet trousers and a clashing velvet blazer.
As the models descended along the runway, the French theme was clear to see with flouncy dresses and pork-pie hats providing a vintage edge while thigh-high PVC boots paired with see-through heels giving a contrasting modern vibe - once again a mark of Karl Lagerfeld's edgy vision.

'To illustrate the invitation to the Fall‑Winter 2017/18 Haute Couture show, Karl Lagerfeld chose a 1926 painting of "La Tour Eiffel" by Robert Delaunay. The Cubist work expressed the artist's resistance to mainstream artistic opinion of the day, which wanted to see the tower demolished.
'The Eiffel Tower has become a symbol of avant-garde modernity and a source of inspiration for countless artists who still use it as a model.'

I think Katy and Cara both look stunning, but Kristen, I don't get all the fuss I really don't - she has a pretty enough face and a nice figure but she always looks a mess whatever she's wearing and I wish she would stand up straight - she's got really round shoulders for someone of her age...

I think it's the opposite. Kristen has softer features, so she can carry off a severe cut better. Cara, especially has harder features around the heavy brown eyes and turned down mouth, so she would look better with softer hair.
