complete with a large CC adornment while keeping her make-up neutral -
with just her trademark thick brow boasting dark hues.
Kristen was undoubtedly determined
to make a showstopping entrance as she slipped into the eye-wateringly
tight unitard which clung to every inch of her slender frame.
The
strapless number made the most of her lithe limbs while the stretchy,
sequin adorned material meant she had no room for movement in the
skin-tight garment. Allowing her body to do the talking, she boosted her
height in a pair of simple black stilettos while peeling on a pair of
rounded sunglasses.

Grand Palais.
She was joined in the

looked nothing short of sensational in an elegant tweed jacket paired
with black trousers. She wore her brunette tresses in a super

glasses.
Other stars to grace the
show included fashion royalty Claudia Schiffer, 46, who was showing off
her age-defying style and good looks in a stunning denim one-piece which
she paired with flats.
Her long
blonde locks were worn in cascading curls over her shoulders while she
peeled a pair of over-sized, Sixities-inspired white sunglasses over her

keeping her make-up light and dewy to best show off her complexion.
Joining
festivities was Lily Collins who went super low-key in a pair of jeans
while she paired the look with a stunning embellished top with frayed
tweed sitting on the arms - in a nod to some of Chanel's hallmarks.

heels while the sparkling top and fringed sleeves was another sparkling
touch to the look.
She wore a smudged
smokey eye while allowing her brunette locks to fall in loose waves
falling over her shoulders in a chest-tickling length - perfect for her

Flying
the flag for the UK was Kaya Scodelario who was oozing understated
elegance, as she showed off a glimpse of her tanned and toned pins in a
striped metallic skirt. The two-piece featured a pretty terracotta tone,
entwined with gold stripes which was reflected in her owl-embellished
Chanel handbag.

Anne Hidalgo, with whom he posed on arrival.

A vision: It was clear to see why he was feted for his work as the models strutted down the catwalk
Alongside
Caroline was Israeli model Shlomit Malka who opted for a fitted skirt
and sleeveless shirt with a Chanel belt cinching in her waist while Liu
Wen was in jeans and a T-shirt - hinting at a casual air to the runway
show.
Guardians And Of The Galaxy
beauty Pom Klementieff was looking sleek in a tweed jacket with cropped
black jeans - once again a nod to the denim looks - complete with
slashed bottoms while 17-year-old My Golden Days actress Lily Taieb
showed off a more mature style in brown velvet trousers and a clashing
velvet blazer.
As the models descended
along the runway, the French theme was clear to see with flouncy
dresses and pork-pie hats providing a vintage edge while thigh-high PVC
boots paired with see-through heels giving a contrasting modern vibe -
once again a mark of Karl Lagerfeld's edgy vision.

Kooky: French singer Sébastien
Tellier and his stunning wife Amandine de La Richardière were casual yet
sophisticated in a duo of quirky ensembles
Dressing
it up: In Paris actress Joana Preiss, Eyes Find Eyes star Alma
Jodorowsky and Tracee Ellis Ross (left-right) were wholly more dressed
up than their peers as they opted for dazzling ensembles - yet Traces
could not resist giving a nod to the denim theme in her jazzy white
jeans with a frayed trim
Brilliant and bridal: One of the
sartorial sensations saw a bridal-themed gown with a frothy hem and
sleeves and a bow fastened under the bust while the stunning model had a

'To
illustrate the invitation to the Fall‑Winter 2017/18 Haute Couture
show, Karl Lagerfeld chose a 1926 painting of "La Tour Eiffel" by Robert
Delaunay. The Cubist work expressed the artist's resistance to
mainstream artistic opinion of the day, which wanted to see the tower
demolished.
'The Eiffel Tower has
become a symbol of avant-garde modernity and a source of inspiration for
countless artists who still use it as a model.'
Wow! As ever the stage was as spectacular as the clothes, with a gigantic Eiffel Tower recreated in the centre of the runway
Sensational: As
the models descended along the runway, the French theme was clear to

Need for tweed: As ever the hallmarks of Chanel complete with tweed and classic shapes
More colourful: Far from the
scanty ensembles seen along many runways, the Chanel show was more based
on suggestion as one outfit saw a model sports a volumunious skirt with
a heavy jacket lines with flowers and a pork pie hat
Tweedy:
The most colourful looks boasted flower adornments and huge skirts -
yet displayed the model's waist thanks to the tailored silhouette
Spectacular: The replica of the Eiffel tower was nothing short of sensational
Booted and bridal: The model was a vision in the white gown as she strutted her stuff in the pretty dress

I
think Katy and Cara both look stunning, but Kristen, I don't get all

figure but she always looks a mess whatever she's wearing and I wish she
would stand up straight - she's got really round shoulders for someone
