Medical happening right now on Man United transfer, announcement coming today

Adnan Januzaj is very close to becoming a Real Sociedad player, report Mundo Deportivo. On Tuesday the same newspaper reported that Januzaj’s agents were in Spain completing the details for a transfer to the La Liga club, and agreement was expected in the ‘coming hours’. Things have taken a step forward and now  Mundo Deportivo  say Januzaj is undergoing a medical and won’t be a Manchester United player for much longer. The medical was started early this morning, and as long as there’s no issues the transfer can be announced at some time today. Whilst the player works on completing his Manchester United transfer, the agents are still at work finalising the details and     Real Sociedad will pay a fee in the region of €10m, and whilst Manchester United won’t have a buyback clause, something Januzaj didn’t want, the club will be entitled to a lower buyout clause via a ‘preferred option’. SPURS TARGET IHEANACHO

Tottenham are the latest club to show an interest in Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, according to   The Sun  . Leicester City have agreed a fee for the Nigeria international, but Spurs are hopeful he could be used as part of the deal which is set to see Kyle Walker move to the Etihad Stadium

NO MAN UTD BID FOR BAKAYOKO

Manchester United have no interest in hijacking Chelsea’s bid to sign Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to newsviewonline247.blogspot.com Reports had suggested that Jose Mourinho was keen to bring Bakayoko to Old Trafford after beating his former club to the signing of striker Romelu Lukaku. However, Bakayoko is not a target for the United boss, with Mourinho instead focusing on a deal for either Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic or Tottenham’s Eric Dier. Bakayoko, meanwhile, is expected to undergo a medical with Chelsea this week ahead of completing a near £40 million move to Stamford Bridge.

IBRA TO GET NEW MAN UTD DEAL

Manchester United will hand Zlatan Ibrahimovic a short-term contract in October after being impressed by his recovery from a knee injury, reports  The Sun  . The Swedish striker was released at the end of an initial 12-month deal at Old Trafford, but has been working on his fitness at United's training ground under the watchful eye of the Red Devils' coaching staff.

anchester United remain £9 million short of Inter's valuation of Ivan Perisic, according to The Telegraph  . The Red Devils have made the Croatian winger a top target and Ed Woodward has not joined the club in America as he seeks to tie up a deal which could cost close to £50m.

ZOUMA TO GO OUT ON LOAN

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is set for talks with Stoke and West Brom about a potential loan move, according to  Sky Sports.  After Zouma missed nearly a year with a knee injury suffered in February 2016, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants the 22-year-old to get more playing time on loan in 2017-18.  

WENGER MET WITH MBAPPE

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger met with French prodigy Kylian Mbappe on June 14 in Paris, according to  France Football.    The French manager tried to convince the Monaco teenager that London would be the best home for him in a meeting that lasted more than three hours, appealing to the 18-year-old to follow in the footsteps of French legend Thierry Henry.

BARCA DITCH BELLERIN BID

Barcelona have ditched plans to sign Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin during the summer transfer window, according to  Sport  . Bellerin had previously been Barca’s leading target to fill the right-back role next season, but Arsenal were unwilling to sell the Spaniard. And, with new coach Ernesto Valverde reportedly having doubts over Bellerin’s physical and technical capabilities, Barca have decided against pursuing a €40 million deal.

DIER SALE AMID MAN UTD LINKS

Tottenham insist that Eric Dier is not for sale amid links with Manchester United, according to Sky Sports  . Reports on Wednesday claimed that United were willing to bid £60 million for the midfielder, but Spurs have received no offers and have no interest in allowing him to leave.

BONUCCI AGREES TO MILAN MOVE

AC Milan have made an offer for Juventus centre-back Leonardo Bonucci, according to Sportmediaset  , with the Italian champions given 72 hours to respond to the proposal. The report claims Bonucci has agreed to the swap, which would see him earn €7 million per year at San Siro, and suggests Juve may be open to the deal due to having young talents Daniele Rugani and Mattia Caldara at their disposal. Additionally, Milan are prepared to offer highly-rated 22-year-old centre-back Alessio Romagnoli – as well as Mattia De Sciglio - as part of the deal, further sweeting the pot

Juventus sign Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich
