Medical happening right now on Man United transfer, announcement coming today

Adnan Januzaj is very close to becoming a Real Sociedad player, report Mundo Deportivo. On Tuesday the same newspaper reported that Januzaj’s agents were in Spain completing the details for a transfer to the La Liga club, and agreement was expected in the ‘coming hours’. Things have taken a step forward and now  Mundo Deportivo  say Januzaj is undergoing a medical and won’t be a Manchester United player for much longer. The medical was started early this morning, and as long as there’s no issues the transfer can be announced at some time today. Whilst the player works on completing his Manchester United transfer, the agents are still at work finalising the details and     Real Sociedad will pay a fee in the region of €10m, and whilst Manchester United won’t have a buyback clause, something Januzaj didn’t want, the club will be entitled to a lower buyout clause via a ‘preferred option’. Tottenham are the latest club to show an interest in Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho, according to   The Sun  . Leicester City have agreed a fee for the Nigeria international, but Spurs are hopeful he could be used as part of the deal which is set to see Kyle Walker move to the Etihad Stadium

NO MAN UTD BID FOR BAKAYOKO

Manchester United have no interest in hijacking Chelsea’s bid to sign Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to newsviewonline247.blogspot.com Reports had suggested that Jose Mourinho was keen to bring Bakayoko to Old Trafford after beating his former club to the signing of striker Romelu Lukaku. However, Bakayoko is not a target for the United boss, with Mourinho instead focusing on a deal for either Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic or Tottenham’s Eric Dier. Bakayoko, meanwhile, is expected to undergo a medical with Chelsea this week ahead of completing a near £40 million move to Stamford Bridge.

IBRA TO GET NEW MAN UTD DEAL

Manchester United will hand Zlatan Ibrahimovic a short-term contract in October after being impressed by his recovery from a knee injury, reports  The Sun  . The Swedish striker was released at the end of an initial 12-month deal at Old Trafford, but has been working on his fitness at United's training ground under the watchful eye of the Red Devils' coaching staff.

ZOUMA TO GO OUT ON LOAN

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is set for talks with Stoke and West Brom about a potential loan move, according to  Sky Sports.  After Zouma missed nearly a year with a knee injury suffered in February 2016, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants the 22-year-old to get more playing time on loan in 2017-18.
